Notes and hints
Notes and hints both concern a library, but serve different purposes. A note records knowledge; a hint asks for a change to be reviewed.
Review notes
A note records knowledge associated with a library, such as a fact or an assumption that may relate to several documents. It is separate from an uploaded file and can be found through note search.
TKP's automated library maintenance can create, update, merge or remove notes as it reviews the library. Open Sources → Notes to inspect what has been recorded. A note is recorded knowledge, so check its supporting sources before relying on it as a verified fact.
Follow a proposed correction
A hint is feedback about something that should change, such as an incorrect description or a file that belongs elsewhere in the library. Submitting a hint asks TKP to review the proposal; it does not immediately change the source.
Open Sources → Hints to inspect submitted feedback. The review status shows whether a hint is awaiting review, accepted, rejected, failed or cancelled. If an accepted hint starts automated work, its separate execution status shows whether that work is still running, succeeded or failed.
These are separate stages: accepting a proposal does not by itself mean its changes have finished successfully.
