Goose
Goose connects to TKP as a remote HTTP extension. You need Goose installed and the address of your TKP application, such as https://tkp.example.com.
Connect with a token
Create a Personal Access Token with the MCP interface enabled and read permission for a library. Run goose configure, add a remote extension using Streaming HTTP, and provide:
- URL:
{APP_URL}/mcp, replacing{APP_URL}with your application address. - Header:
Authorization: Bearer <token>, replacing<token>with its value.
Alternatively, add an entry to extensions in ~/.config/goose/config.yaml:
yaml
extensions:
tkp:
type: streamable_http
uri: "{APP_URL}/mcp"
headers:
Authorization: Bearer <token>
enabled: trueReplace both placeholders and keep the file private because it contains the token. Preserve any other extension entries already in the file.
Connect with browser sign-in
For Goose versions supporting MCP OAuth discovery, add the same URL without a bearer header. Complete the browser authorization when prompted.
Check the connection
Enable the TKP extension in your Goose session and ask it to list your TKP libraries. If that fails, use Troubleshooting to check the connection and permissions separately.
See Goose extension setup for configuration options in your installed version.
