Claude Code

Use Claude Code's remote HTTP support to connect to TKP. You need the claude command-line tool installed and the address of your TKP application. Choose one of the two methods below, replacing {APP_URL} with that address, such as https://tkp.example.com.

Connect with a token

Create a Personal Access Token with the MCP interface enabled and read permission for a library. Replace <token> below with its value:

bash
claude mcp add --transport http tkp {APP_URL}/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>"

This stores a connection named tkp in Claude Code's configuration. Treat that configuration as sensitive because it contains the token; do not commit it to a shared repository.

Connect with browser sign-in

If you prefer OAuth, add the connection without a bearer header:

bash
claude mcp add --transport http tkp {APP_URL}/mcp

In a Claude Code session, run /mcp, select TKP and complete its authentication flow. Sign in to TKP in the browser and approve the requested permissions.

Check the connection

Run /mcp inside a Claude Code session to check TKP's connection status and tools. Then ask Claude Code to list your TKP libraries. If the connection or permissions fail, see Troubleshooting.

See Claude Code's MCP guide for configuration scopes and authentication controls.
