Use TKP through MCP

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets an application discover and call tools provided by another service. TKP's tools search your libraries, read documents and media, and create links back to the evidence. A chat client can make these tools available to its agent; your own application can call them directly.

TKP's MCP address is:

text
{APP_URL}/mcp

Replace {APP_URL} with your TKP application's address, such as https://tkp.example.com. Use the application address, not the documentation site's address.

A Personal Access Token is a secret you create in TKP and give to your application. Use it for scripts and clients that accept an Authorization header. With OAuth, the client opens TKP in your browser and asks you to authorize access without copying a token manually.

Both methods restrict the connection to one workspace and the permissions you choose. Start with the MCP interface enabled and read permission for one library. This is enough to search and read its indexed content. Uploading files or submitting corrections requires additional library abilities.
